CNIR – PUBLISHING

RULES FOR ORGANIZING THE PUBLISHING ACTIVITY

The Rulebook establishes the unique bases for organizing publishing activity at the University “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola, and especially:

  • The conditions and manner of issuing textbooks and other publications;
  • The categorization, volume and circulation of textbooks and other publications;
  • The publishing procedure – planning the publishing activity, submitting the request of the author/authors, reviewing and deciding on the publishing of textbooks and other publications;
  • Securing the funds for publishing activity;
  • Author’s royalties and other remuneration of the authors;
  • Prices and sales of textbooks and other publications.

The main goal of the Rulebook is to establish common and higher standards and achieve higher quality in the issuance of textbooks and other publications in UKLO.

PUBLISHING COMMISSION AT FTU OHRID

The Commission for Publishing of FTU:

  • organizes the publishing activity and proposes measures for its promotion;
  • prepares a Proposal Plan and Program for publishing activity for each academic year, which is included in the Annual Work Program of the unit;
  • implements the plan of publishing and distribution activities and proposes measures for their improvement;
  • proposes to the authority of the Unit responsible for the publishing activity the sales prices and takes care of the realization of the sale of the publications in accordance with the Decision on the highest amount of the sales price of textbooks, monographs, scripts and practicums;
  • informs the authority of the Unit responsible for the publishing activity for the realization of the Publishing Activity Plan;
  • establishes a proposal for issuing textbooks and teaching aids;
    performs other tasks from its activity.
